Prepare the pastry cream(cream filling):-
- In a medium saucepan, heat the milk and butter over the medium heat. Until it’s just warm. Make sure not to boil.
- Take a bowl, whisk the egg yolks, sugar and cornstart together until it becomes Smooth and looks pale in colour. Slowly pour the warm milk into egg mixture. While continuously whisking.
- Pour the mixture back into the saucepan and cook over the medium heat, stirring constantly, until it becomes thickens and It should have a custard-like consistency. Then Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and Let the filling cool in refrigerator for some time.
Prepare the Tart crust :-
- Take an electric mixer, combine the flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Add the cold butter cubes then mixed until it becomes well combined.
- Add the egg yolk and gently combine until the dough begins to come together. If you found it’s too dry then you can add a tablespoon of cold water.
