Notes

1) When making the filling, make sure your ice cream is soft but not completely melted. Let it sit out for about 10–15 minutes before mixing it with the peanut butter. This makes it easier to combine and results in a smooth, creamy texture.
2) Make sure to chill the crust before adding the filling. This helps the crust set, making it easier to slice and preventing it from crumbling apart when you serve the pie.
3) Before cutting the pie, dip your knife in warm water and wipe it off. This helps make cleaner slices without cracking the frozen filling.
4) After assembling the pie, freeze it for at least 4-6 hours or overnight to ensure it sets well. Make sure to cover it with plastic wrap or aluminum foil to prevent freezer burn.
5) Use a chocolate cookie crust like Oreos for contrast or a classic Graham cracker crust to keep it simple. That secret tip is to toast the crust lightly in the oven for 5-7 minutes before filling, even if it’s a no-bake recipe. This adds a slight crunch and makes the crust more flavorful.
