Meatloaf With Onion Soup Mix Magic Recipe
I made meatloaf using onion soup mix, and it turned out to be a quick and flavorful dish. The mix added a savory, slightly tangy taste that blended well with the meat. It made the preparation easy since I didn't have to add a lot of other seasonings. The meatloaf was juicy and tender, with the onion mix giving it a nice kick. It’s definitely a convenient way to add a lot of flavor without much effort.

1 Large Mixing Bowl
1 Loaf Pan
1 Microwave
- 2 Pounds Lean Ground Beef 80% Lean Is Ideal
- 1 Packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 1 Cup Seasoned Breadcrumbs
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1/2 Cup Whole Milk You Can Substitute With Low-Fat Or Non-Dairy Milk
- 1/4 Cup Ketchup For The Meat Mixture
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper Freshly Ground
- 1/2 Tsp Salt Depending On The Saltiness Of Your Soup Mix
- 2 Tbsp Fresh Parsley Chopped
- 2 Tsp Brown Sugar
- 1 Tsp Yellow Mustard
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, and optional ketchup. Then add black pepper and garlic powder. Mix everything together until it's fully combined.
Form the meat mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a greased loaf pan or on a lined baking sheet.
Spread the barbecue sauce or tomato sauce over the top of the meatloaf for extra flavor. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Let the meatloaf rest for about 5-10 minutes before slicing. This helps it firm up and makes it easier to cut and enjoy your meatloaf with onion soup mix with your favourite servings.
1) Overmixing the meat can make the meatloaf dense and tough. Gently combine ingredients until just mixed for a tender texture.
2) If you want to add more nutrition and texture, mix the finely chopped vegetables like bell peppers, carrots, or zucchini into the meat mixture.
3) For a juicier meatloaf, consider adding ¼ cup of milk or water to the mix. This helps keep the meatloaf moist, especially when using leaner ground beef.
