Along with which many other ingredients are added, like parsley, cilantro, garlic, etc. Here is a classic recipe to make authentic middle eastern-style falafel:

What We Need To Make Delicious Falafel Vegan Recipe :

  • Dried Chickpeas
  • Clove of garlic
  • Scallions
  • Freshly chopped cilantro
  • seasonings like Cumin, black pepper, cayenne pepper, Paprika, salt,
    sesame seeds
  • all purpose flour
  • lemon juice
  • vegetable oil

Dried chickpeas :

Falafel is made with soaked but uncooked chickpeas. Cooking or using Pre-cooked chickpeas can alter the flavor and texture. Dried chickpeas, when soaked and ground, provide a coarse texture that helps the falafel maintain its shape and prevents it from becoming mushy when fried. Canned chickpeas are too soft and can lead to falafel falling apart.

All-purpose flour :

Flour helps bind the ingredients (chickpeas, herbs, and spices) together, ensuring the falafel patties or balls hold their shape during frying or baking. If you’re looking for a gluten-free option, there are gluten-free all-purpose flour blends available, often made from rice flour, potato starch, or tapioca flour.

Lemon juice :

It helps to add moisture to the falafel mixture, keeping it from becoming too dry when fried or baked. Freshly squeezed lemon juice is generally preferred. It has a more vibrant and natural flavor compared to bottled lemon juice, which can sometimes have preservatives or taste slightly bitter.

Scallions :

Their green tops contribute a fresh, bright element, balancing the deep, fried texture of falafel. Both the white and green parts of scallions are typically used in falafel.Using both parts ensures a balanced flavor throughout the falafel.

How To Make Perfect Falafel :

Now it’s time to mix up the ingredients. and let’s start to make the vegan falafel recipe. It’s gluten-free falafel.
